Hello! I'm
Piyush Mishra
Engineer turned strategist. Bridging analytical rigour with business acumen — from ESG markets to consulting boardrooms.
About
Engineer Analyst Strategist.
I’m Piyush Mishra, a management consultancy postgraduate with the analytical DNA of an electrical engineer. My academic journey gave me a rare ability – the capacity to deconstruct complex systems, whether it’s a power grid or a market structure, and to surface what’s essential.
Over the past two years, I’ve worked at the intersection of finance, sustainability, and strategy. From conducting market research on unlisted securities and unearthing value in under-the-radar companies, to evaluating ESG frameworks for organisations navigating the demands of impact- conscious investors, I’ve learned that the best decisions are made at the edge of data and judgement.
My engagement with RSM, one of the world’s leading audit and consulting networks, gave me hands-on exposure to real-world competitive intelligence – synthesising market positioning, client segments, and growth opportunities into a structured strategic roadmap.
Outside the office, I run the 100-metre dash, have been training in the gym for five years, trek mountain trails, and cut through the water in the pool. I’m a firm believer that how you do anything is how you do everything — and the discipline I’ve built in sport informs how I approach professional challenges.

The Person Behind the Work

100m Sprint Athlete
Competing on the track requires explosive preparation, mental composure under pressure, and the ability to perform at peak when it counts. These are the same traits I carry into every professional challenge.

5-Year Fitness Journey
Five continuous years of structured training have taught me the value of long-term commitment, progressive improvement, and consistency - the building blocks of any worthwhile endeavour, professional or personal.

Trekking & The Outdoors
Mountain trails offer perspective that spreadsheets cannot. Trekking grounds me, builds resilience, and reminds me that most worthwhile goals require patience, preparation, and a willingness to be uncomfortable.

Swimming
A pursuit of form, rhythm, and calm. Swimming teaches economy of effort - the idea that elegance and efficiency go hand in hand. A principle I try to bring to my analytical work as well.

Cinema & Series
From character-driven dramas to complex narratives - I'm drawn to stories that explore human behaviour, institutional systems, and the tension between individual ambition and collective consequence.

Food & Culture
Ordering in and exploring cuisines is its own kind of curiosity an appreciation for how culture, craft, and creativity come together. Good taste in food is not so different from good judgement in business.
Let's Connect
Whether you’re exploring a collaboration, looking for a research partner, or simply want to discuss ESG markets and competitive strategy – I’m always open to a good conversation.
